We may collect the information you provide when you submit an enquiry, request a resource, subscribe for updates, apply for a role or contact us. This can include your name, organisation, business contact details, role, country or operating region, project context, sector interest and the information you choose to include in your message.

We use your information to respond to enquiries, provide requested resources, arrange demonstrations or briefings, assess whether a commercial or partnership conversation is relevant, administer subscriptions where you have chosen to receive them and protect the security and operation of this website.

The legal basis we rely on and how long we keep information depend on why you contact us.

Enquiries, demonstrations and briefings

We rely on our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and, where you ask about a possible engagement, on taking steps at your request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(f) and 6(1)(b)). Enquiries are deleted automatically 24 months after they are submitted, unless they become part of a customer, partner or recruitment relationship, in which case the retention terms for that relationship apply.

Updates and subscriptions

We rely on your consent (GDPR Article 6(1)(a)). You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every message. We keep your subscription details until you unsubscribe.

Website security and operation

We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure and available (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Technical server logs are kept for up to 30 days. To protect our forms from abuse we store a one-way hashed value derived from your IP address, never the address itself.

We use a small number of service providers to operate the website and handle communications. They process personal information only on our instructions.

Hosting

The website and the systems that receive form submissions run on servers we operate in a Hetzner Online GmbH data centre in Germany, within the EU.

Content delivery and security

Website traffic passes through Cloudflare, Inc., which delivers the site and protects it against attacks.

Email delivery

Notifications about your enquiry, and messages you have asked to receive, are sent through Postmark, an email delivery service operated by ActiveCampaign, LLC.

Cloudflare and ActiveCampaign are based in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified under it, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell personal information.

You may have rights to request access to, correction, deletion, restriction or transfer of your information, or to object to certain processing. To make a request, contact info@cortexacore.com. You also have the right to complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet, datatilsynet.dk) or the data-protection authority where you live or work.
